We would like to congratulate and pay tribute to the senior softball student-athletes. We are very proud of our seniors and honored to have them as part of our school community and athletic family.

#22 Bailey Braham

Bailey will earn her first letter in softball and has also lettered in band and bowling. Her future plans include attending Youngstown State University to become a nurse.

#25 Megan Cleer

Megan is a 1 year letter winner. She has also lettered in Academics and Choir. She also participates in choir and HHServes/Interact. Megan’s favorite softball memory is always getting to be with my amazing teammates and coaches. Her future plans include attending YSU and majoring in Early Childhood Education.

#11 Mia D’Andrea

Mia is a 2 year letter winner. She has also lettered in academics. Mia participates in Student Senate, Pep club, Ski club, Spanish club, and Science club.. Her favorite softball memory is making new friends every season and making memories to last a life time. Her teammates always became  like a second family to me. Mia’s future plans include going to an undecided college for an undecided major.

#14 Gia Mezzapeso

Gia is a 1 year letter winner. She is the president of Italian club, YSU’s English Festival, H.E.A.R.T and Political Action Club. Her favorite softball memory is taping Coach McCarty’s high school pictures all over her house during team bonding junior year. Gia’s future plans include going to Kent State for Fashion Design and Merchandising degree. 

#6 Marissa Miller

Marissa is a 4 year letter winner. She has also lettered in academics. Marissa also participates in National Honors Society, Pep Club, and is a Class Representative. Her favorite softball memory is when the team beat Canfield 5-3 in an upset game her junior year. Marissa’s awards include 2 year All Conference Honors. Her future plans include attending The Ohio State University on a Pre-Med track.

#24 Madison Osborne

Madison is a 3 year letter winner. She also participates in Art club. Her favorite softball memory is winning against South Range it was the closest game ever. Madison has won two Tiger awards. Madison’s future plans include going to college at Westminster and entering the medical field. 

#26 Lexi Rodgers

Lexi is a 2 year letter winner. She also participates in Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) as the president, NHS, and Spanish Club. Her favorite softball memory is the south range game her junior year. They were down my many runs, but one inning the team just managed to come together and turn things around and ended up winning 13-11. They had never seen the team so excited and the coaches so happy, it was the best feeling ever. Lexi’s future plans include attending The Ohio State University as an Exploration Major with a focus in Health and Human Services.

#15 Gabby Thomas

Gabby is a 3 year letter winner. She has also lettered in band. Gabby also participates in FCCLA. Her favorite softball memory was: It was a  game against Canfield we were in the last inning when they had one out with runners on first and third.  I was behind the plate, we threw a pitch out and threw out the runner at second and  the shortstop whizzed the ball back to me and I tagged the girl out at home that led us to a victory! I was so thankful for my team and coaches that day as we supported and pushed each other through not only that game but the whole season. Gabby’s future plans include attending college to major in nursing for a nurse practitioner in pediatrics.
