Tigers News · Throwback Thursday: Looking Back and Celebrating the Boys Soccer State Run

This past school year, the boys Soccer team made it to the Division II state championship for the first time in school history! Howland was the first Trumbull County team, boys or girls, to make it to the soccer state championship. Led by All-District players–Jordan Sperling, Austin Stassinis, and Pano Gentis, Peter Lerakis, Gabe Altawil, and Lucas Brill and All-County players–Pasquale Carannante, Christian Cano, Conor Burwell, and Gabe Lisi. The team was also the Red Tier AAC Champions, Division II District Champions, and the Division II Regional Champions. Their State Runner-up finish ties the best team finish in school history with the 1952 Baseball team.
