The boys track team won the South Range Invitational on Friday through a total team effort.
The 4×100 team of Cam Robinson, Luca Fronzaglio, Khalil Bernard and Trenton Johnson won the only event for the Tigers.
2nd place finishers were:
Trent Johnson – 200m dash
Bode Biggin – disc
The 4×400 team of Max King, James Hipple Jesse George and Andrew Sanders.
The MS Girls track team traveled to South Range for the South Range Jr High Invitational. The team finished 3rd out of 8 teams racking up a total of 89 points. Finishing 1st for the Tigers were Emily Adams in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes, and Addison Christy in the 200 meter hurdles. 2nd place finishes include Addison Christy in the 100 meter hurdles, Camille Sutton in the 1600 meter run, and Marshayla Meyer in the shot put. Ava Alvetro earned 3rd place in the 200 meter hurdles. The 4×400 meter realy team of Ava Alvetro, Addison Christy, Camille Sutton, and Emily Adams finished 4th. 5th place finishes included Ava Alvetro in the 100 meter hurdles, the 4×200 meter relay of Piper Hua, Rylie Homa, Ava Boothe, and Grace Villwock, and Grace Villwock in the long jump as well. The 4×100 meter relay of Piper Hua, Ava Boothe, Rylie Homa, and Mignon Yancy were 6th place, along with Camille Sutton in the 800 meter run. Taylor Fairchild was 7th in the shot put and 8th in the discus. Marshayla Meyer was 7th in the discus. Mignon Yancy finished in 8th in the 200 meter dash. The team returns to action on May 10th for the AAC Championship.
