Building Request Form Rules & Regulations
Howland Learning Community Members,
Attached is the new School Premise Request Form effective January 1, 2016. The procedure to submit a school premise request form is as follows:
1). Turn in completed School Premise Request form to administrator of building requested
2). Administrators of building do initial check of conflicts on Schedule Star (District Master Schedule). Approve/Deny request. If denied, contact group/individuals requesting submitting premise request.
****Recommended Building Principals make a copy of this request, especially if the time frame for event is small****
3). If approved by building administrator, form is sent to Activities Department (via e-mail as PDF to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org or hard copy via interoffice mail) for final approval and entry into Schedule Star.
4). Form is then returned to building administrators via e-mail. Activities office will also e-mail copies to departments affected by request (i.e. technology, food services, etc.), but building administrators are ultimately responsible for communicating and coordinating with custodial staff, technology department, etc. the needs to fulfill the premise request at their buildings.
5). Approved premise requests made by internal staff/groups will be sent electronically. Outside groups will receive hard copies.
