8th Grade Girls Defeat Crestwood

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball team on their win over Crestwood by a score of 36-23.  The leading scorer for the Lady Tigers was Alyssa Pompelia with 15 points.  Also adding to the score were:  Kylie McClain, Kalliopi Gentis, Logan Stambolia, Jamie DeSalvo, Jen Sindledecker, and Maggie Dignan.  Great Job Girls!!! 7th Grade Lady Tigers Win Again

Congratulations to the 7th grade girls on their 34-11 win over Crestwood.  Leading scorers for the Tigers were Riley Chmielewski with 18 and Courtney Clark with 12.  Also adding to the score was Maddie Munroe, Paris Parisi, and Maddie Anders. Click here for photo gallery of this game.

Lady Bowlers Roll to 4-0 Record

The girls bowling team beat Canfield to improve their record to 4-0.  Leading the girls was Jessica Guesman with a 208, followed by Holly Sparklin with a 203.  The teams next match is Wednesday at Campbell.

Lady Tigers JV Falls to Poland

In a matchup of two undefeated squads the host Bulldogs came out ahead 49-44. The Lady Tigers tallied 19 field goals vs. 16 for the Blue and White, but Poland capitalized at the line with a 13-21 performance vs. 3-7 for the visitors. Lady Tigers Take Down Undefeated Poland

Howland sent Poland to its first loss of the season with a 51-42 win Monday night in girls’ high school basketball action. Alex Ochman led the Tigers with 22 points, while Mackenzie Maze also reached double-figures with 15. Howland improves to 5-3.

Lady Bowlers Take Fifth at YSU Invitational

The girls bowling team competed in the YSU Invitational over the weekend finishing 5th overall.  Leading the girls was Jessica Guesman with a 508 series followed by Danni Harigan with a 480 series.  The teams next match is tonight against Canfield.  Good luck.

Multimedia Students Shine in Scholastic Art Contest at YSU

The students of Mr. O’Dell’s Multimedia Class submitted works this year into the Annual Scholastic Art and Writing Contest held at YSU.  The following received Keys for their work.
