JV Boys Defeat Jefferson

Behind Joey Vitali’s 21 points, the Tigers defeated Jefferson 54-40.  Helping the cause were Alex Holthouser with 13 points and Justin JOnes and Gage Tomko with 6 apiece.   The Tigers are back at it today against Austintown Fitch .  

Multimedia Students Show Their Stuff at Scholastics

Howland Defeats Jefferson Behind Rappach’s 26

Frankie Rappach came out firing as he lead Howland with 26 points in their victory over Jefferson 87-74.  Rappach hit four 3’s and also went 6/6 from the line.  Also scoring in double digits for the Tigers were Nathan Barrett with 16 and Samari Dean with 10.  Howland also got contributions from Nolan Brill with 8,

7th Grade Boys Beat Warren

8th Grade Boys Lose Nail-Biter to Warren

Freshman Girls Lose to Austintown

The Howland Freshman girls played a strong second half but it wasn’t enough as they were defeated by Austintown Fitch 41-26.  Leading the way for the Tigers was Giana Merlo with 10.

Freshman Boys Defeat Lakeside

The boys 9th grade basketball team improved their record to 5 and 3 with a win over Lakeside 55-40. The Tigers were led by Tyler Fenton with 16 pts, Jordan Sperling with 11 and DeRon Burke added 9pts.

JV Girls Overcome Slow Start to Defeat Lakeview

The Lady Tigers went on the road and used a strong second quarter to overcome the Lakeview Bulldogs 45-24.  Makayla Dahman led the way with 16 points and Gillian Powell added 12. The squad will travel to Boardman Saturday for an early 10:30 am start vs. the Spartans.

Maze goes for 28, Howland Dominates Lakeview

Mackenzie Maze led two other teammates who were in double figures by scoring 28 points in the Tigers’ rout of rival Lakeview in an All-American Conference Red Tier game. Maze was backed by Alex Ochman with 16 points and Gabby Hartzell with 12 as Howland improved to 13-4 overall and 7-2 in the Red Tier.
