JV Girls Lose at Hoover

The Lady Tigers were unable to muster much offense against the Vikings. Varsity Girls Fall to Hoover

In a low scoring contest, the Tigers fell to North Canton Hoover 42-33.  Leading the Tigers was Alex Ochman with 10 points.  Howland took a 7-4 lead into the second quarter but could only muster 3 points and fell behind 16-10 going into the break. Mindek Advances to Districts for Boys Swimming

Freshman swimmer Jared Mindek continued his season finishing second in 100 breaststroke (1:01.14) at Akron Universty and also advancing in the 200 IM. Jared now moves on to the Districts.  Jared holds the school record in the 100 Breaststroke which he captured earlier this season.  Good Luck Jared!

Howland’s Shooting Too Much For Fitch

The Howland Tigers put together an outstanding performance as they pulled away for a 63-42 road win against the Austintown Fitch Falcons. With the Raiders (11-6, 9-2) leading by two in the final seconds, Howland standout Connor Tamarkin drove down the floor with a chance to tie or win the game. 7th Grade Boys’ BB Lose to Youngstown East in Semi-Finals

The 7th Grade Boys’ Basketball Team’s amazing season ended last night with a loss to Youngstown East.  Brandon Null led the Tigers in scoring with 6, and both Nick Leasure and Ben Bronson added 4 each.  The boys finished the season with 13 wins and 3 losses.  Congratulations on an awesome season!
