Last weekend, the Howland Speech and Debate Team traveled to Massillon for two grueling days of competition at the Ohio Speech and Debate Association’s State Tournament. For the first time in school history, the Howland Wrestling Team will be represented by a Freshman at the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. Matt Woomer-#138lb, placed 4th at the District Championships and that was good enough to get him to states. Congratulations Matt!

Annual Tiger Run Set. Sign Up Here

The annual Tiger Run is quickly approaching and we would like to extend an invitation to all those interested in running.  This 5K event for adults and 1 mile run for kids starts at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, March 24th.   Below is a link to sign up.  Registration ends March 20th so don’t miss out. 

HS Winter Banquet set for March 14, 6 pm at HS gym…RSVP now!

It’s time to gather and celebrate! Howland Boys Season Ends in Sectionals

Both teams had student sections on their feet from start to finish. Players weren’t commiserating with fans and friends before the game. Wrestling Gets 5 to Districts, Woomer Sectional Champ

This past Saturday the wrestling team competed in the D2 Sectional wrestling tournament at West Branch High School. The top four placers advance to the OHSAA District Tournament to battle for a spot at the State Tournament in Columbus. Your Tigers had 7 individual placers and took 7th as a team. Drama Students are Preparing for Bye Bye Birdie

Its that time of year again!  The students of Howland Drama will be presenting this years Spring Musical “Bye Bye Birdie” March 22-24 at the Middle School Gymnasium.  Tickets will go on sale soon so don’t miss out.  You can see students spending their time painting sets this past weekend.
