Freshman Jared Mindek Sets School Record

There’s not too many freshman in high school that go into a sport or event saying “I’m going to set a school record.”  That’s exactly what Jared Mindek, Freshman Boys Swimmer did this past Saturday in the AAC Championships.  Swimming in the last heat of the 100 Breaststroke, the last thing on Jared’s mind was a record. 

7th Grade Girls Fall to Boardman

7th & 8th Grade Boys Defeat Boardman

The 8th grade boys held on to beat Boardman Maroon by the score of 36-33.  The win improved their overall record to 7-2.  Jacob Gazdik, Anthony Massucci and Gabe Badea combined for 25 points to lead the Tigers. Congratulations to the 8th grade girl’s basketball team on their win Tuesday over Boardman by a score of 44-14.  The Lady Tigers are now 9-0.  Leading for the team was Alyssa Pompelia with 21 points.  Also adding to the score was Jamie DeSalvo, Catie Gajski, Javi King, Jen Sindledecker, Taylor Lawrence, and Mia Infante.  Great
