Freshman Girls Season Ends in Semis

The 9th girls basketball team dropped a hard fought game to Canfield in the AAC semi-finals game 33 to 30.  Kylie McClain had 11 points, Taylor Lawrence added 8.  This loss ends the freshman season.

Lady Bowlers Fall to Boardman

Howland Downs Cross Town Rival Niles

Led by Kayla Clark’s 16 points and 10 rebounds, the Tigers won their 8th game in a row 48-40 over Niles..  Alyssa Pompelia had 4- 3 point shots for 12 points, followed by Alex Ochman’s 13 points. The JV Lady Tigers tallied 21 ponts in the first quarter led by Kylie McClain with 7 points

Mauri Runs Fastest Time In State/Second Fastest in the Nation

Vincent Mauri competed at the spire scholastic showcase this past weekend, where he competed in the mile and ran the fastest time in Ohio this season 4:09.72 and the second fastest time in the nation. Great effort Vinny! Watch Vinny Run

Coach Diehl Records 500th Career Coaching Victory!

Coach Diehl began his career in 1981 as Bristol’s boys’ basketball head coach. At Bristol, he won 107 games and led them to the Division IV State Final Four in 1994. That same year, he was named Howland girls basketball coach. For the past 25 seasons, Coach Diehl has compiled 393 victories, 10 league championships,

Howland Boys Drop 6th Straight

The Boys Basketball team dropped their sixth straight game to losing Friday night to Canfield 65-45. The JV Boys lost to Canfield 59-40.  Leading the Tigers was Anthony Massucci with 13 and Gabe Badea with 8.
