Girls Golf Falls Short vs. Champion

The Lady Tigers golf team lost a tough match to Champion by the score of 187 to 192.  The team was led by Madison Schaefer with a solid score of 40.  She was followed by Bailey Ulrich (47), Lauren Miles (52) and Ella Swartz (53).  The loss drops the team record to 6 and 6. 

7th Volleyball Beats Aquinas and Western

On Saturday the 7th grade volleyball team had victories over St Thomas Aquinas (2-0) and Western (2-1). Their record improves to 5-4 and their next match is Wednesday, 9/11 at Austintown with Newton Falls at home on Thursday, 9/12. Great job this week! Boys Soccer Remains Unbeaten

A goal from Howland striker Jordan Sperling gave the Tigers momentum and they ran with it, capturing a 3-0 boys soccer victory over Lakeview on Saturday to remain undefeated. Boys Cross Country Wins East Palestine Invitational

The Howland boys cross country team won the East Palestine Invitational with a score of 33 points defeating 13 other teams.  Lane Goble was the individual overall winner.  Zach Brill took fifth, and Ben Bronson took ninth.  Other top finishers for the Tigers were Manny Fakkas, Isaac Robertson, Kaden McCord, and Mark Rubino.  Great job,

Freshman and JV Volleyball Results

Howland Volleyball’s 9th grade team placed 6th at the Lakeside Freshmen Volleyball Tournament. The Tigers fell to Maple Heights 19-25, 14-25 and bounced back to defeat Field 23-25, 28-26, 27-25. HMS Girls Win Pat Ritchie Invitational

The girls cross country team captured the D1 title today at the Pat Ritchie Walsh Jesuit Invitational.  Megan Hipple finished 2nd, Molly Yasnowski 5th, Maria Dellimuti 7th, Gabby Reuschling 16th, Kylie McClain 25th.  Lauren Null won the open race.
