Lady Tiger Bowlers Improve to 3-0

The girls bowling team beat Harding and improved their record to 3-0.  Leading the girls was Jessica Guesman with a 207 followed by Holly Sparklin with a 181.  The teams next match is Thursday at Boardman.  

HMS Wrestling Improves to 8-3

The HMS Wrestling Team improved its record to 8-3 over the weekend at Pymatuning Valley.  The Tigers only losses were the result of very close matches with Ashtabula Lakeside (33-39), and South Range (36-40). The Howland Lady Tigers fell behind early and never recovered as they lost to Struthers 54-43.  Alex Ochman led the Tigers with 20 points. On Saturday Morning, the Swimmers for Howland competed in a 7 school meet. On the ladies side, Howland took 1st overall with 530 Points while the men placed fourth with 34 points. Boys Varsity Basketball Loses to Canfield in OT

The Howland Tigers lost a hard fought battle to Canfield 55-52 in OT. Leading the way was Connor Tamarkin had 23 pts and 8 rebs. Jonah Weisman added  10 points. MS Wrestling Defeats Grand Valley

The 7th grade boys won their game last night at Lakeside by a score of 47-28. Brandon Null led the Tigers in scoring with 15, and David Manios and Josiah Mattern both added 8.   The 8th grade boys also beat Lakeside to improve to 2 and 1.  The Tigers were led by Gabe Badea

8th Grade Girls’ BB Rolls to Victory Over Lakeside

The 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball team cruised to victory over Ashtabula Lakeside, 54-16.  Leading scorers for the Tigers were Kylie McClain, with 14 points, Jen Sindledecker with 12, and Alyssa Pompelia with 10.  Also scoring for the Tigers were Kalliopi Gentis, Na’Veyah Parisi, Jamie DeSalvo, Javi King, Taylor Lawrence and Mia Infante.  Great Job Girls!
