8th Boys Advance to AAC Finals

8th Boys Advance in AAC

The 8th grade boys advanced to round 2 of the AAC Tournament with a 68-54 Tiger victory over Warren White. Jaden Rishel led all scorers with 21 points. Alex Henry added 15 and Duncan Moy contributed 11 points and 10 assists. Gabe Gumichia also had 11 points to help pace the Tigers. The tigers play

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team closed out the regular season with a dominating win over Warren.  Jaden Rishel led all scorers with 12 points and  Lincoln Thomas added 10 points to help secure the victory for the Tigers. All Howland Middle School Winter-Sports student-athletes are invited to the HMS Winter Sports Banquet.  We will be honoring all student-athletes and coaches who participated in a Winter sport at HMS. 8th Boys Win Over Warren

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team traveled to Warren on Thursday, topping the Raiders.  Four players paced the Tigers as they got a 52-38 victory over Warren Gold.  Jaden Rishel 18, Gabe Gamichia 13, Duncan Moy 11 and Alex Henry 10. The 8th grade boys battled hard, but fell short to the Austintown Blue Falcons.  Both teams played tough defense and had some strong offensive moments.  Unfortunately, the Falcons proved to be too much for the Tigers with the final score of 51-48.  The boys play again this Thursday at home against Boardman.
