7th Grade Girls Win AAC Championship!

The 7th grade Lady Tigers capped off an amazing season with a victory over Boardman White, 29 to 18 to win the AAC Red Tier Championship.  Marshayla Meyer scored 9, Emily Adams, Ava Alvetro, Grace Villwock, Sophia Powell, and Angelina Weems added to the scoring. 7th Girls Beat Canfield

The 7th grade girls defeated Canfield 26 to 20 and will play Boardman Wednesday here at 5:30. Scoring for the Tigers were Emily Adams 11, Marshayla Meyer 9, Rylie Villwock, Ava Alvetro, Grace Villwock, and Ja’Nyah Smith added to the scoring. Click HERE to view the photo gallery from this game.

7th Girls Get Win

The 7th grade girls beat Warren yesterday 35 to 3 to finish the regular season 13 and 3. Emily Adams lead all scorers with 12, Marshayla Meyer had 9 also scoring were Rylie Villwock, Ava Alvetro, Sophia Powell and Mar’Liyah Harris.  Come out to support the girls at home on Monday in the tournament. The seventh grade girls overcame a slow start to defeat Austintown Blue by a score of 25 to 24 to move there record to 12 and 3 on the season. Scoring for the Tigers were Sophia Powell 7 Ja’Nyah Smith 6 Marshayla Meyer, and Emily Adams 5 each. Ava Alvetro chipped in 2. Good job

HMS Winter Sports Banquet Set for Feb. 26th

All Howland Middle School Winter-Sports student-athletes are invited to the HMS Winter Sports Banquet.  We will be honoring all student-athletes and coaches who participated in a Winter sport at HMS. Wednesday, February 26th at 6:00 PM HMS Cafeteria This banquet is free for the student-athlete and their guests, but they must RSVP. Teams being honored

7th Girls Beat Austintown Red

The 7th grade girls defeated Warren last Thursday 33 to 2 and they defeated Austintown Red 40 to 35 last night. Sophia Powell had 17, Emily Adams had 14 also scoring were Ava Alvetro, Grace Villwock, Marshayla Meyer and Angelina Weems. The girls improved to 11 and 3 on the season.

7th Girls Beat Canfield

The 7th grade girls improved to 9 and 3 with a 23 to 22 won over Canfield. Sophia Powell had 6, Grace villain with 5, Marshayla Meyer, Emily Adams, Riley Villwock and Ja’Nyah Smith also scored Ava Alvetro stepped up on defense. Good job ladies.

7th Girls Beat Boardman White

The 7th grade girls defeated Boardman white by a score of 30 to 23 improving to 8 and 3 on the season. Sophia Powell led all scorers with 12. Also scoring were Emily Adams, Riley Villwock, Addy Christy, Ja’Nyah Smith, and Marshayla Meyer. The guards played awesome defense and the entire team played with intensity.

The 7th grade girls beat Newton Falls 25 to 18 on Saturday morning. Emily Adams lead all scorers with 11.
